Mojek Solutions Private Limited and its related entities (collectively referred to as “We,” “Our,” “Us,” or “Mojek”) provide various services to our customers (“Customer,” “You,” “Your,” or “User”) through our website (https://mojek.money), our application on the App Store named Mojek Money, and any other websites or platforms that we may own and operate, or may operate in the future (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Platform”).

At Mojek, we are committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy. This document (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Policy”) describes our practices in relation to the storage, use, processing, and disclosure of your personal information that may be accessed by us or that you may choose to share with us when using our Platform or Services. As part of delivering our services, Mojek partners with SHREEM DATATECH SOLUTIONS PVT. Mojek displays this data on your device but does not store it on Mojek’s own servers.

Mojek accesses and displays this data on your device without storing it on Mojek servers. Necessary permissions are obtained in accordance with applicable law.

Financial Information: This includes information as defined under the Master Direction - Non-Banking Financial Company - Account Aggregator (Reserve Bank) Directions, 2016, as updated from time to time.

Other General and Personal Information: When you use Mojek Services, we collect information about your transactions and activities. This may include:

Contact information: Name, address, phone number, email, and similar details.

Detailed personal information: Date of birth, marital status, gender, educational background, employment status, organization name, identification documents, health, and lifestyle information.

Monitoring and Recording: For quality, training, and security purposes, Mojek may monitor or record phone conversations with you or your representatives. By communicating with Mojek, you acknowledge that these conversations may be monitored or recorded, unless otherwise required by law.

Location Data: When you download or use our mobile applications or access our mobile-optimized sites, we may receive information about your location and mobile device, including a unique identifier for your device. Express Consent

LTD. securely manages and processes this data, which is displayed by Mojek on your device but not stored on Mojek servers.

Our primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide you with a secure, smooth, efficient, and customized experience. We may use your personal information to:

• Provide Mojek Services and customer support; process transactions and send notices about your transactions; verify your identity, including during account creation and password reset processes.

• Resolve disputes, collect fees, and troubleshoot problems; manage risk, or detect, prevent, and/or remediate fraud or other potentially prohibited or illegal activities; detect, prevent, or remediate violations of policies or applicable user agreements; improve Mojek Services by customizing your user experience; measure the performance of Mojek Services and improve content and layout; ensure compliance with applicable laws.

• Manage and protect our information technology infrastructure; provide targeted marketing and advertising, service update notices, and promotional offers based on your communication preferences; contact you by telephone, SMS, or email messaging, as authorized by our User Agreement; perform creditworthiness and solvency checks, and compare information for accuracy and verification with third parties.We also use user information to enable activities and transactions that need to occur during the provision of various Mojek Services, such as:

For bank account and mutual fund data, SHREEM DATATECH SOLUTIONS PVT. LTD. securely manages this information as required for service delivery. Mojek accesses this data only for display on your device, without storing it on Mojek’s servers.

Reasonable Security Practices for Protection of Personal Information

In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” refers to information associated with a specific person that can be used to identify that individual. Personal information does not include data that has been anonymized and cannot be used to identify a specific user.

We store and process personal information in our possession or control on our secure servers and infrastructure, in locations where our facilities are based. For bank and mutual fund data, SHREEM DATATECH SOLUTIONS PVT. LTD. securely manages and stores this data on its servers, and Mojek accesses this information solely for display on the user’s device.

To protect your information, we implement physical, technical, and administrative security measures designed to reduce risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, and alteration. Some of the safeguards we employ include firewalls, data encryption, physical access controls to our data centers, and access authorization controls.

We ensure that the security practices adopted by Mojek are fully compliant with applicable laws and meet industry standards.

Sharing of Personal Information

Mojek will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, for any reason, at any time. However, we may share your personal information with our affiliates and business partners if such data sharing will assist you in utilizing Mojek Services. Additionally, you authorize Mojek to share your personal information with:
Mojek Group Companies: Members of Mojek’s group companies may access your information to provide joint content, products, and services (such as registration, transactions, and customer support), help detect and prevent potentially illegal acts and violations of our policies, and guide product, service, and communication decisions. These group companies may use this information to send you marketing communications.

Partner Financial Institutions: We may share personal information with our financial institution partners, who may only use this information to market Mojek-related products.

Banking Partners: As required by credit card association rules, we may share information with banking partners for inclusion on their list of terminated merchants if your Mojek account is closed due to a breach of our User Agreement.

Fraud Prevention and Risk Management: To help prevent fraud and manage risk, we may share account information with third parties if Mojek places a hold or restriction on your account due to disputes, claims, chargebacks, or other issues related to transactions.

Shipping: To facilitate shipping and related services for purchases made using Mojek.

Mojek may be contractually or legally obligated to retain specific information, and such information will be retained as required under applicable law or as part of Mojek’s contractual obligations. For instance, we may retain your contact information and application details (if any) for fraud prevention, to exercise or defend legal claims, or to provide evidence in legal proceedings.After termination of your relationship with Mojek, we may continue to use your data in an anonymized, aggregated format or in combination with anonymized data from other users. This aggregated data may be used for data analysis, profiling, and research purposes, such as gaining insights about user profiles and preferences.

For bank account and mutual fund data managed by SHREEM DATATECH SOLUTIONS PVT. LTD., Shreem will follow its data retention practices as per applicable laws and contractual obligations.

Limited Use Disclosure
Mojek Money’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. 

This ensures that any data accessed from Google APIs is handled in a manner consistent with Google’s standards for user privacy and data protection.
